Potatoes (boiled, peeled and diced)-4
Fenugreek Leaves ( Finelly chopped)-1 cup
Turmeric Powder- ¼ tbsp
Onion- Finelly chopped
Cumin Seeds-¼ tbsp
Red Chili-¼ tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Allow it to splutter.add onion saute it welll
- Add salt, red chili powder and turmeric powder and sauté it for 2 min.
- Immediately add diced potatoes .......when it slightly brown add fenugreek leaves to the above.
- Stir the contents and cover the pan.(add some cumin powder its optional)
- Let it cook for 5 minutes on medium flame
- Aloo Methi is ready
