Kerala style fish( Meen ) curry with mango

Meen curry with mango 


Tilapia fish - 2
Coconut milk - 1 cup
Onion - 1
coconut Oil - 2 teaspoon
Ginger - - 1 tablespoon
Chilli powder - 2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - half teaspoon
Coriander powder - 2 teaspoon
Raw mango - 1
Coriander leaves - half a bunch
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Oil - 2 tbsp
Water - 1 cup
Salt - to taste


Method


Clean and cut the fish into big slices and wash well.
In a pan add coconut oil add chopped onion and add Crushed green chillies and ginger saute well
Add , chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt. add some water Boil for a few minutes.
now add the Mango ..allow it to cook for few minutes..........then add Fish to the mixture and cook for 5 to 10 minutes
Cook till the fish is done.(if u need more puli add tamrind or tomato @ this stage)
Mix the  coconut milk to the curry. Mix it slowly.small bubbles should come ...that it
Add coriander leaves and curry leaves.  remove from the heat.
Serve with rice.
